Thunderbean presents ‘Cultoons’ a two Blu-ray, 45 film collection of some of the strangest animation ever made! These missing links in the history of animation includes attempts at cartoon stardom, sponsored films, pilots, forgotten commercials and demos. Saved from complete obscurity, these entertaining films have been scanned from archives and private collections around the world. Includes a booklet of information about the films and their creators, some known for their other work in animation, and some forgotten.
Cultoons started as a series of VHS tapes in 1988 featuring films that had never been available in home video. The DVD collections revived the series 17 years later, and now, 17 more years later(!) we’re happy to present them on Blu-ray, many from upgraded 35mm sources.
This is a replicated 2 disc Blu-ray set preorder. The set is slated to be released this year.
